things you'll need:
- Jack
- Jack stands
- Drain pan
- 3/8-inch ratchet and socket set

- 1 Lift up the rear of the car using the jack and set it back down onto jack stands. Make sure it's high enough up in the air so you can fit underneath it comfortably.
- 2 Locate the fuel filter on the back of the car, just next to the gas tank. Unbolt the fuel filter from the car using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket.
- 3 Place the drain pan underneath the filter. Push in the sides of the quick disconnect fittings on the sides of the fuel filter lines using your hands, then pull them off of the filter. Drain the filter and the fuel lines into the drain pan.
