There are many reasons you might want to remove your Ford Ranger door panels. Some types of repairs require that the interior of the door be exposed. Also, you may have decided to install custom panels or even reupholster your old panels to you're your car a fresh new look. Whatever the reason, you will have little trouble with the door panel removal: basically, three screws, a few clips and they will come right off.

things you'll need:
- Phillips head screw driver
- Torx head screw driver (This is a screwdriver with 6 points on the blade)
- Smallish thin flat bladed screwdriver

- 1 Remove all the Phillips head screws. There are going to be two Phillips screws to remove. One is in the armrest and one is lower left at the bottom of the panel. Unscrew them and take them out. Put them somewhere where you can find them easily later.
- 2 Remove the plastic cover on the window crank. Using your thin bladed flat head screwdriver, gently pry the plastic cover off of the window crank handle. Beneath it you'll see a torx screw.
- 3 Unscrew the torx screw. Use the torx screwdriver to do so. Place the screw in a place that is easy to find later.
- 4 Unclip the gravity clips to remove the panel. The panel will now be held on only with gravity clips. Reaching down to the bottom of the panel, pull up gently but firmly and the panel will release. You are now good to access the inside of the door.
