How Do I Change the Transmission Fluid for a 2003 Ford Focus Wagon ZTW?

The 2003 Ford Focus ZTW wagon was Ford Motor Company's economy station wagon for the 2003 model year. The efficient 2.3 liter dual overhead cam engine and five-speed transmission worked well together to deliver good gas mileage. The wagon offered more passenger room and cargo space than the Focus sedan and coupe. It did this without sacrificing it's economy car status. Like all the fluids on the Focus, you must change the transmission fluid regularly to ensure the vehicle's longevity and economical performance. Ford recommends changing the fluid every 60,000 miles.
