When should I change the accumulator/baterry of my Ford

Each car battery is consumable component, which means that it has a certain, limited lifespan. Usually, the a new car battery should be installed once every 2-3 years. So, if your car is struggling to start, then maybe it is time for a new battery to be installed. Please note that the performance of all expired/exhausted car batteries drops dramatically when it is cold outside. Please be aware that the car battery life will be shortened, if you start the engine while the headlights, the radio, the AC, or/and any other electricity consuming devices are on.
