     According to Cars.com, the Ford Focus was the top selling small car. It quickly replaced the Ford Escort. Ford makes the four-door sedan, two-door hatchback, four-door wagon, and the four-door hatchback. The 2002 Ford Escort is the street version of the traditional style. This line includes a five-door hatchback style, which is a top seller in Europe. Unfortunately, some people have discovered some repair problems with these cars. Some common problems include the engine, brakes, and accessories.

   Brakes

   • Some people have encountered problems with the brakes. When applying the brakes, the twisted front rotors will cause the steering wheel to shimmy. The brake rotors look similar to rims on a bicycle. When the driver applies their foot to the brakes, the brake caliper will squeeze the brake pads onto the brake rotors.
